Deborah "Debbie" Ann Medlin Raxter, 48, of Easley, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Baptist Easley Hospital.

Mrs. Raxter was born in Greenville County, SC, a daughter of Robert L. and Joyce Sanders Medlin. She was the former Mayor of Dacusville and was active in her community and the Kris Mechanical Company which is owned by her family. She was a caregiver for the elderly and was a member of Jones Hill Church of God.

Surviving in addition to her parents are two sons, Luke Aaron Raxter (Julie) and Nicholas "Nic" Abram Raxter, all of Easley; a brother, Robert Mike Medlin (Rita), of Easley; a sister, Tammy Clardy, of Easley; her former husband of twenty-five years, Donald Charles Raxter, of Dacusville; neices, Jessica Clardy and Breanna Medlin; nephews, Scott Clardy and his daughter, Makayla Clardy, Chad Clardy and Andrew Clardy; her adopted family, Ralph and Cathy Bennett, of Easley, and their children, Ray and Mariea Wilson and son, Jackson, Marty and Anndriea Simon and son, Bennett and B.J. and Leah Rice and their daughter, Liliana; her best friend and companion, Doug Cosgrove, of Easley.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, with the Reverend Gordon Hager and the Reverend John Brown, officiating.
Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of her parents.
