Deborah Jones "Debbie" Robinson, 71, wife of John B. Robinson, Jr., passed away Monday, August 29, 2022 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.

Debbie was born in Pickens, SC, a daughter of the late Jean Newman and Herbert E. Jones, Jr. She was a 1973 graduate of the University of Georgia and earned her teacher's certificate from Clemson University.  She retired as a social worker at AnMed Health. She was a member of Pickens First Baptist Church. Debbie enjoyed traveling, attending and watching Clemson Football and Baseball and loved to sail.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her son, John B. Robinson, III his wife Casey and their son Jones of Bryson City, NC; sisters, Eugenia Dowling and her husband, Bill of Basking Ridge, NJ and Cynthia Griffith and her husband, Jim of Durham, NC and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Debbie was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Jones; and a sister, Karen Jones.

The family will have a simple service of remembrance at a time and date that will be announced by Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or remember Debbie by planting a flower or tree in your garden or yard.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 PM, Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 1962 Wells Highway, Seneca, SC 29678.
