Debra Sue Phillips Kirby, 50, of 124 Trotter Drive, a loving mother, wife and daughter, died Tuesday, September 30, 2008.
Born, October 8, 1957, in Robbinsville, NC, she was a daughter of Tony and Jumilta Wheeler Boozer of Piedmont and Wallace and Karen Phillips of Robbinsville, NC. She was a member of River Road Baptist Church and was retired from Interfilm Holdings. She was a devoted baseball mom and cheer mom for many years.
Surviving are: her husband Eugene "Buddy" Kirby of the home; daughters, Lori (Jeff), Summer , Tiffanie and Gina (Taylor); a son, Thomas; brothers Jimmy Phillips of NC and John (Lisa) Phillips of TN, a sister, Dianne Phillips (Jeff) Holby of CO; and two sisters-in-law, Mary-Jean and Peggy; grandchildren, Kayla, Adam, Alex, Ashten, Ashley, Brianna, Bryce, Selene, Logan and Talon; and several nieces, nephews and relatives.
Funeral service will be 4:00 PM on Thursday, at Robinson Funeral Home, Powdersville Road, with burial in Robinson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:30 - 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to River Road Baptist Church, 1714 River Road, Piedmont, SC 29673.
