Mrs. Della Denton Dickard, 84, wife of the late James Thomas Dickard, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 at her home.
Born in Hiawassee, GA, a daughter of the late Barnet Denton and the late Ester Parton Denton, Mrs. Dickard retired from Swirl Manufacturing over twenty years of service and was of the Baptist faith. She will always be remembered for her love of animals, the outdoors and gardening.
Surviving are her daughter, Brenda Owens and husband, Jerry Hal Owens, of Easley; her sister, Mary Stewart of Clermont, GA; her grandson, Erik Owens and wife, Adicia Bolding Owens, of Easley; her step-great-granddaughter, Tricia Evett and husband, Edward; her step-great-granddaughter, Katelyn Fink and husband, Chris; her step-great-great-grandsons, Brayden Bolding, Greyson White, Evan Evett, and baby Otto Fink due in May; and numerous nieces and nephews of Northern, GA; In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Dickard was predeceased by two brothers, Cleveland and Junior Denton.
Graveside services will be Noon Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Pickens.
Family members are at their respective homes.
