Della Maxine White Stafford, 72, of Central, wife of the late William A. Stafford, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014, at National Health Care in Anderson.
Mrs. Stafford was born in Oakvale, WV, a daughter of the late James R. and Alverta Barton White. She was a homemaker and a member of Refuge Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, James William Stafford of Central, and Jerry Ray Stafford and his wife, Marie of Anderson; one brother, Russell White of Alexandria, VA; two sisters, Dreama Reed of Pendleton and Harriett Bocckinfuso of Hardy, VA; two grandchildren, John and Dakota Stafford.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two sons, Jeffery Keith Stafford and John Winton Stafford.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Refuge Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
