Della Thompson, wife to Richard Glenn Thompson, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018.

Born in Easley, a daughter to the late Henry Albertson and the late Ruby Bishop Albertson, she was a Hairdresser for over forty years and was a cherished member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. She loved cooking, decorating, and yardwork, but most of all, her family.

Surviving, in addition to her loving husband, are sons, Derrick Thompson (Jessica) and David Thompson (Leslie) both of Easley; brothers, Dan Albertson, Harold Albertson (Nancy), Jerry Albertson (Virgie), Truman Albertson (Carol), Jimmy Albertson (Nancy), all of Easley and Ozell Albertson (Judy) of Anderson; a sister, Sue Whitman, of Greensboro, NC; sisters-in-law, Helen Albertson and Ann Albertson, both of Easley; and grandchildren, Lane Thompson, Ella Grace Thompson, and Lizzie Ru Thompson, all of Easley.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Fred Albertson, Ray Albertson, Frank Albertson, Colonel Albertson, and Wylie Albertson; and sisters, Mae Albertson and Sarah Albertson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Rock Springs Baptist Church. Entombment will follow at Robinson Memorial Gardens Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at the Church.
