Mrs. Deloris Ann Wilson Childress, 69, wife of Hugh Childress, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022.
Born in Harlan, KY, a daughter of the late Kenneth Wilson, the late Deloris Meredith Wilson, and the late Maxine Wilson, Mrs. Childress was a graduate of Roth High School in Dayton, OH and a homemaker. Deloris loved sewing, crafts, riding through the mountains and camping, but her greatest love was for her family. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of forty-three years, are three daughters, Cora Hageman (Steve) of Wisconsin, Ginger Yarber of North Dakota, and Angela Childress of Easley; a sister, Geneva Lynn Barnes (Clifford) of Dayton, OH; four grandchildren; and numerous half-brothers and half-sisters. In addition to her parents, Deloris was predeceased by a brother, Raleigh Wilson.
The family will host a memorial service at a later date.
