Dennis Ray Richey, 62,formerly of 130 Boggs Road, husband of the late Mary Pelt Richey, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at Oakmont West Living Center in Greenville, SC.
Born in Anderson, a son of the late Louis and Nellie Ruth Conwell Richey, Mr. Richey was a machine operator with Tyco and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are step-son, William Earnest Kay of Central; three step- daughters, Janie Kay Crowe (Donnie), Jeanne Kay Marchbanks (Homer) of Six Mile, and Pamela Kay Maw (Christopher) of Stafford VA; three step- grandchildren, Douglas, Kenneth, and Kristen Maw. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Richey was predeceased by a brother, Lloyd " Bo" Richey.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 20, 2010 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with the Revered Bobby Marchbanks officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of Janie and Donnie Crowe, 165 Powder Mill Road, Central, SC 29630.
