Dennis James "Denny" Angel, 44, of 932 Pelzer Highway, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 9, 2006, at his home.
Born in Erwin, TN, the son of William R. "Bob" and Glenda Chandler Angel of the home, Denny was a 1980 graduate of Easley High School, a member of Trinty Baptist Church, and a singer with the Angel Family.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two sons, USMC Corporal Jeremy Angel of Camp Pendleton, CA, and Josh Angel of the home; two sisters, Wendy Angel of the home and Sherry Greathouse and her husband, Tim, of Easley; his grandmother, Daisey Chandler of Erwin, TN; two nieces, Heather Edmond and her husband, Nathan, and Natasha Greathouse; a nephew, Christian Angel; and a great-nephew, Carter Edmond. Denny was predeceased by his grandparents, Mack and Maude Angel and Fred Chandler.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Smith and Rev. Charlie Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown where the family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The family is at the residence.
