James Derek Caldwell, 66, of 201 Brushy Creek Road, died Wednesday, January 06, 2010, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Caldwell was born in Greenville County, a son of the late James DeYoung and Grace Wiggins Caldwell. He was retired from General Electric, was a member of Arial United Methodist Church and the Bates Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Caldwell is survived by his wife, Sue Tollison Caldwell of the home; two sons, Mark (Dephanie) and David Caldwell (Tracy); two daughters, Kim Gilstrap (Kevin) and Melissa Caldwell; a brother, Terry W. Caldwell (Suzy), all of Easley; eleven grandchildren, Brandy Caldwell, Erica (Clint) Bryant, Elliott Caldwell, Kristi (Brandon) Clements, Alex Gilstrap, Andrew Gilstrap, Nick Ingram, Dillon Caldwell, Blake Holland, Dustyn Caldwell and Alyssa Moore and many loved nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, officiated by Reverend Roger Gwinn. Burial will follow in Arial United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., prior to the service.
The family is at the home.
