Derril Lee Martin, 65, of 126 McGaha Road, died Sunday, March 12, 2006.
Born in Greenville County, a son of the late Leroy and Geneva Addie Smith Martin, Mr. Martin retired from the Ellison Plant of Alice Manufacturing Company and was a member of Enon Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the US Navy.
Surviving are a brother, Jerry Smith Martin and his wife, Martha, of Easley; a sister, Carolyn Jane Martin of Easley; nine nieces, Tracy Martin, Deana Tinsley, Donna Redding, Vicky Frick, Rachel Tinsley, Olivia Tinsley, Kayla Capps, Brooke Morton and Savannah Morton; eight nephews, Scott Patterson, Mike Patterson, Dean Patterson, Eric Redding, Billy Frick, Jeremy Martin, Billy Martin, Jr. and Ricky Redding. In addition to his parents, Mr. Martin was predeceased by a sister, Jean Martin Patterson, and by two brothers, Billy Martin and Gerald Martin.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the residence.
