Derrill Gene "Weave" Weaver, 73, of 20 Templewood Drive, died April 19, 2008 at his home.

Mr. Weaver was born in Pickens County, a son of the late Milton L. "Fate" and Bessie Dodgens Weaver. He retired from Pitney-Bowes Company and later was the owner and operator of Weaver Pest Control. He was an avid motorcycle fan and was a member of the Harley Riders from Dacusville and H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group). He bought his first motorcycle in 1963 and had ridden across country many times. He was a member of the R.O. T.C. while a student at Clemson University and was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church.

Surviving are his former wife and friend, Sandra Darnell Weaver, of Taylors ; sons, Kenny Weaver and his wife, Pam, of Anderson and Scott Weaver and his wife, Deborah, of Hartsville, SC ; a daughter. Traci Weaver Galloway, of Taylors ; sister, Naomi W. Tinsley, of Easley ; 4 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Milt Weaver and a sister, Lucille Hollis.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, with the Reverend Ronnie Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery, Easley.

The family is at the home of Traci Galloway, 22 Cunningham Circle, Taylors, and will receive friends Monday from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM at the funeral home.
