Dewey Kent Donley, 62, of 902 Prince Perry Road, died Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Oconee Medical Center in Seneca.
Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Archie Curtis and Mary Edna Moore Donley and the late Kent Hoard. He worked in textiles and then later worked in the mortgage business. He was a member of the Easley Moose Lodge and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his wife, Judy Taylor Donley, of the home; four step-sons, Charles David Maready and wife Sharon of Pickens, Mark Stephen Maready and wife Stefanie of Easley, Patrick Anthony Maready of Central, Nicholas Taylor Carracino and wife Michelle of Inman; three daughters, Sherri D. Segars and husband Tony of Greenville, Cheryl Marie Donley of Columbia, Christi D. Ellis and husband James of Greenville; two brothers, Richard Kirk Donley, Gregory Kenneth Donley, both of Greenville; and four sisters, Debra Miller of Greenville, Deana Rawlins of Wildwood, FL, Nancy Smith of Mesa, AZ, Kathy Severt of Grassy Creek, NC; fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Archie Curtis Donley.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 30, 2009 from 3 PM until 5 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown.
