Dewey Thomas Garrison

Dewey Thomas Garrison, 89, husband of the late Lillian Collins Garrison, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020 at his home.
Born in Banks County, GA, a son of the late William Thomas Watson Garrison and the late Mattie Murray Garrison, he was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. Mr. Garrison proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1951-1955 as a Gunner's Mate on the USS Cape May County. He retired in 1992 from his business, Richey & Garrison Drywall Company.
Surviving are a son, Alan Garrison (Janice); grandchildren, Erin Bolde and Brett Garrison (Lauren); and great-grandchildren, Ava, Lily, and Emma Garrison, all of Pickens.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Roy, William, and Paul Garrison; and a sister, Dorothy Weathers.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2020 in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.
