Diane Searcy Barnes Collins

Diane Marie Searcy Barnes Collins, 79, wife of Aron Collins, of Easley, and the late Jerry Randle Barnes, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026.

A native of Easley, SC, she was a daughter of the late Rev. T.W. "Bill" Searcy and the late Vivian Marie Jones Searcy.

Diane was a graduate of Easley High School and worked for Doctor's Care for a number of years. She found great joy in cross-stitching and working with plastic canvas. She also loved to play the organ and was the church organist at Powdersville First Baptist Church for many years, and later became a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, Diane is survived by her son, Christopher L. Barnes (Susan); a sister, Tami Searcy Howell (Scott); a grandson, Matthew Barnes; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Barnes; and two nephews, Chase Howell and Zachary Howell.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown. A private burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the funeral home.
