Mrs. Diane Green Davis, 66, of 140 Stella Dora Drive, Easley, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital - Downtown.


Diane was born at Greenville General Hospital on March 25, 1950 to Anita Holcombe Green of the home and the late Larry J. Green. She graduated from Wren High School where she was very proud to be a cheerleader for the Hurricanes. Upon graduation, she received her Bachelor's Degree from Mars Hill College and Master's Degree from Clemson University.


Diane began her teaching career at Croswell Elementary, then moved to West End Elementary where she taught until accepting a job with Tri-County Technical College as an advisor to many early childhood education programs throughout the upstate. She was a very strong spirited woman and was an avid Clemson University fan. Mrs. Davis was a lifelong member of Siloam Baptist Church in Easley.


In addition to her Mother, Mrs. Davis is survived by a daughter; Bevin Watson (Corey) of Piedmont.


Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Siloam Baptist Church, 229 Siloam Road, Easley, SC 29642. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley.


The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 4, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home, Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.


Flowers will be accepted, or the family requests that memorial donations be made to Siloam Baptist Church or to a Charity of One's Choice.
