Dicie Lou Durham Rollins, 72, of 328 Mountain View Drive, widow of John "Jay" Rollins died Monday, December 17, 2012 at her home.
Born in Anderson County, Dicie was a daughter of the late Ellis J. Durham and Lula Erwin Durham Burkett. She was the business manager for J.R. Construction Company and Rollins Building Supply of Central and a former food service manager with Atlas Food Systems. Dicie was a member of East Clemson Christian Fellowship where she served as Secretary and Treasurer for over 30 years.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and is survived by her son, Brent J. Rollins of Greenville; daughters, Wanda R. Palmer (Russell) of Norris and Victoria R. Brewer (Donovan) of Central; brothers, Dennis Durham, L C Durham and Manuel "Vic" Durham all of Pendleton; sister, Bonnie S. Foster of Clemson; grandchildren, Blake Brewer, Megan Palmer, Brandon Brewer and Lacey Jay Palmer.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Haley Victoria Brewer; brothers, R A Durham and Grady Durham; and a sister, Gertrude Burns.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Thursday at East Clemson Christian Fellowship with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Central, SC.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Wednesday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
