Richard “Dick” Dale Raue, 71, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 at his home.
Born on April 7, 1945 in Urbana, Iowa, he was a son of the late Art and Betty Owens Raue.
Dick was the owner of Raue Construction Company in Iowa, building quality custom homes and remodeling.
Dick loved hunting, fishing and was an excellent pool player. He enjoyed spending quality time with his children and grandchildren and was an inspiration to all of them. He was well loved by his friends and family.
Surviving are his wife of the 30 years, Jo Patterson Raue; his children, Brian Raue of Miami, FL, Lyn Clancy of Austin, TX, and Tracy Harbin of Easley; seven grandchildren, William Raue of Miami, Garrett and Marshall Dean of Austin, Joshua and Jesse Harbin of Easley, Jennifer Cromer and Lindsay Jones of Georgia; four great grandchildren; brothers, Mike Raue of Shellsburg, IA, and Gary Raue (Becky) of Urbana, IA; and a sister, Mary Young of Center Point, IA.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Genia Jones and a brother Larry Raue.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
