Dillard Elzie McGee

Dillard Elzie McGee, Jr., 92, of Easley, husband of Juanita Elrod McGee, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 at his home.
Born February 11, 1923 in Elberton, GA, he was a son of the late Dillard E. McGee, Sr., and the late Minnie Lee Smith McGee. Mr. McGee was a US Army veteran serving in WWII and was a retired postal service clerk with twenty-eight years of service. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and the Prayer Warrior Sunday School Class.
In addition to his wife of seventy-two years, he is survived by his daughter, Nancy McGee Land; brother, Billy McGee (Julia); sister, Hilda McGee Dragos; grandchildren, Gregg Land (Kellie); and great-grandchild, Madison Knye.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens with military honors.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
