Dillard Robinson

Dillard Pearson Robinson, 81, of 107 C.H. Blair Drive, died Monday, October 12, 2009, at his home.
Born in Pikesville, VA, a son of the late Ira Flemming and Bessie Jackson Robinson, Mr. Robinson retired from the US Army after twenty years of service where he served during the Korean Conflict and later retired from Duke Power Company. He was a member of Amazing Grace Fellowship.
Surviving are his wife, Alvia Cooke Robinson; three sons, Daryl Robinson of Liberty, Dennis Robinson of Six Mile, and Kyle Robinson of Pickens; a daughter, Rebekah Stewart of Pickens; three brothers, Alvin Robinson of Greenville, William Robinson of Seneca and R.C. Robinson of Pickens; three sisters, Geneva Lovell of NC, Colvie Mosley of TX, and Joyce Lature of Pickens; four grandsons, three granddaughters and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Robinson was predeceased by a son, Keith Dewayne Robinson, and by five brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
Graveside services will be 4:00 p.m Friday at Cooke Cemetery in Iaeger, West Virginia.
