Dillard Conrad "Jack" Thomas

Dillard Conrad "Jack" Thomas, 92, husband of the late Mary Wood Thomas, of Pickens, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2026.

Born in Easley, he was a son of the late Nelson and Bessie Reece Thomas.

Jack retired from Singer Manufacturing after 33 years of service and was a member of Crescent Hill Baptist Church in Pickens. He loved fishing and working on small engines and he proudly served with the U.S. Army.

Jack is survived by his son, Daniel L. Thomas (Shirley) of Pickens; brothers, Chester Thomas (Fran) of Fayetteville, GA, Johnny Thomas (Caroline) of Simpsonville; a sister, Martha Ellenburg of Brevard, NC; and grandchildren, Jeff Bridges (Debbie) of Easley and Tonya Thomas of Pendleton.

In addition to his loving wife of 64 years, Jack was predeceased by brothers, Melvin Thomas, Mickey Thomas, and Charles Thomas; and sisters, Vivian Burgess and Ellen Burgess.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday, November 9, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 12:50 PM at Oolenoy Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
