Dillie Galloway Everingham, 80, of
D13 100 Stallings Road and wife of Mel Everingham, died Wednesday at Greer Memorial Hospital.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Oscar S. and Louannie Bryant Galloway, she was retired after 22 years service as a Clinical Radiology Instructor with Greenville Tech and was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Cheryl Smith Colley and husband, Tom, of Gastonia, NC; five sisters, Christine Cochran and Wylen King both of Easley, Eunice Bagwell of Clemson, Eulalia Gause of Spartanburg and Annas Houston of Pickens; one granddaughter, Hollye Kavanagh and husband, Danny; and one great-granddaughter, Anna Marie Kavanagh.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a husband, Charles Smith; four brothers, Winfred Galloway, O.S. Galloway, Jr, Dewey C. Galloway and Joe Galloway; and three sisters, Bernice Mosley, Onease Galloway and Girlene Galloway.

Funeral services will be 2 PM, Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown Easley with Rev. Lawrence Keever officiating.

Burial will follow in Oconee Memorial Park in Seneca.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.

The family is at their respective homes.
