Mr. Dock Franklin Albertson, 85, husband of the late Louise Gillespie Albertson, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at his home.
Born in Anderson County, a son of the late Henry Franklin and Ruby Bishop Albertson, Mr. Albertson retired from American Services and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a son, William Albertson of Liberty; two daughters, Mary Woodall (Paul) of Six Mile, and Joyce Rampey (Jim) of Liberty; six brothers, Dan, Harold, Jerry, Truman, Jimmy, and Ozell Albertson; two sisters, Sue Whitman and Della Thompson; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Albertson was predeceased by six brothers and six sisters.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, December 18, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from noon until 1:45 PM Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the home of a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Jim Rampey, 381 Golden Creek Road, Liberty, SC 29657.
