Dock Hart, a beloved carpenter, and devoted family man, passed away on August 13, 2023, at the age of 87. Born on June 2, 1936, in Madison County, Georgia, Dock's journey through life was filled with hard work, love for his family, and cherished memories.

Dock dedicated a significant portion of his life to Langston Construction, where he worked as a carpenter for ten years before retiring. Known for his exceptional work ethic and dedication to providing for his loved ones, Dock left behind a legacy of commitment and resilience.

Beyond his career achievements, Dock will be remembered for the many lessons he shared with his sons. He taught them how to fish and cultivate gardens, instilling in them a passion for nature and self-sufficiency. Additionally, Dock meticulously taught his sons the intricacies of automotive repair, ensuring they possessed valuable skills that would serve them throughout their lives.

Dock's strong character extended beyond the professional sphere. Those who knew him remember him as an incredibly kind and welcoming individual. With a warm smile and a great sense of humor, he had an incredible ability to make others feel at ease in his presence.

In his leisure time, Dock found joy in various hobbies and interests. Gardening allowed him to connect with nature while channeling his nurturing side. Moreover, he took pleasure in cooking hearty meals for others, especially when it involved firing up the grill. His culinary talents brought together friends and family on countless occasions. And of course, fishing served as both relaxation and a personal challenge for Dock, a chance to connect with the tranquility of nature.
