Dola Maudell Waters Knapp, 93, of 239 Thomas Lane, widow of Wesley Knapp, died Friday night at the Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca.
Born in Epworth, GA, she was the daughter of the late John and Maude Weeks Waters. Formerly of Kansas, she worked in the libraries of both Miltonvale Wesleyan College in Miltonvale, Kansas and Central College in McPherson, Kansas. She was of the Wesleyan faith. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and the family is grateful for the legacy she leaves.
Surviving are two daughters, Sharon Warren and husband, Weston of Central, and Leanne Hermann and husband, Darrell of Plano, TX; brother, Kenneth Waters of Epworth, GA; sister, Inez Roberts of Hendersonville, NC; and 3 grandchildren Heather (John) Donner, Heidi Hermann and Hillary Hermann.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Knapp was preceeded in death by a brother, Robert Waters.
No funeral services are planned but a special gathering of family will take place to honor the life of Dola Knapp at a later date.
