Dolores Langley Solberg died Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Cottingham Hospice House, Seneca, SC. Mrs. Solberg was born on February 15, 1948 and was the daughter of the late Robert S. and Vera N. Langley. Her brother Douglas D. Langley predeceased her.

She was born in Millville, NJ and resided in Marydel, DE. She was a graduate of Rowan University, with a BA in Art, and a MA in School Public Relations. She served as an officer for the Delaware Community Reinvestment Act Council and an officer and editor of the Brain Injury Association of Delaware. She worked as the Social Editor for the Atlantic City Press, a Publications Editor for the University of Delaware, Director of School Information at the West Chester PA School District, Director of Information at Bayhealth Hospital in Dover, DE, and the Director of the Delaware Housing Coalition.

Dolores enjoyed performing with the Kent County Theater Guild, the Dover Community Singers, identifying and collecting wildflowers, and was involved in the Delaware Sierra club.

Surviving are her daughter, Kirsten Solberg Snape, her husband R. Scott Snape, her granddaughter, Josephine Langley Snape, of Central, SC and ex-husband Carl Joseph Solberg, of Waldoboro, ME.

A memorial service will be held in her hometown of Millville, NJ.
