Don Emery Crutchfield, 85, of 112 Cloverleaf Court, died Saturday, January 21, 2006, at his home.
Born in Clinton County, IN, the son of the late John and Zora Frances Stewart Crutchfield, Mr. Crutchfield retired from Norfolk and Western Railroad Company after forty years of service, and was a member of Rockvale Baptist Church, and attended SkyPointe Church. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the US Marines.
Surviving are his wife, Jo Ann Shoulders Crutchfield of the home; two sons, Larry Crutchfield of Utah, and Rev. and Mrs. Scott Crutchfield of Travelers Rest; a daughter, Linda Huffer of IN; and fourteen grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Crutchfield was predeceased by two step-daughters, Brenda and Debbie Peak and by three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley, with Rev. Engrum Johnson and Rev. Tim Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the residence.
