Mr. Hoyt Donald "Don" Jameson, 85, husband of the late Sue Waldrop Jameson, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Brookdale Greenville.

Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Thomas Milton Jameson, Jr. and the late Minnie Cox Jameson, Mr. Jameson was a retired Soil Conservationist with Pickens County and a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church. He was a US Air Force veteran having served during the Korean War.

Surviving are a son, Thomas Milton "Bub" Jameson, III. (Lucy) of Nashville, TN; a daughter, Samantha "Mandy" Jameson Spitzmiller (Billy) of Easley; a sister, Sallie Von Kanel of Clemson; and three grandchildren, Kyle Jameson, Jameson Spitzmiller and John Thomas Spitzmiller. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Jameson was predeceased by six brothers, Randolph, Ansel, T.M., Lake, Carl and Jack Jameson; and four sisters, Viola Hanna, Margaret Ann Waldrop, Sybal Johnson and Minnie Lee Vincent.

Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 29, 2015 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Dave Shorter officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Family members are at their respective homes.
