Donald Floyd "Don" McCall, Sr., 69, of 1423 Massey Road, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 at his home.
Born in Oconee County, a son of the late Floyd Anderson and Vennie Lou Martin McCall, Don was formerly employed with the Glenwood Plant of Mayfair Mills and was a member of Slab Town Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Wilma Swords McCall of the home; four sons, Vance McCall, Jerome Hunnicutt, Donald Floyd McCall, Jr., and Michael Lee McCall; a daughter, Tammy Jernigan; four brothers, David McCall, Dannis McCall, Stanley McCall and Rev. Larry McCall; a sister, Betty Gilreath; and twelve grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Don was predeceased by a brother, William Berry McCall and by three sisters, Samantha Willimon, Sarah Smith and Lois Massingale.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Dodd Family Cemetery in Westminster.
Visitation will be from 4:00 until 6:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
The family is at the residence.
