Mr. Don Lyman Nichols, 60, husband of Maricel Labrador Nichols, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019.
Born in Pickens County, a son of the late James Carl Nichols and the late Emma Bagwell Nichols, Mr. Nichols was a graduate of Easley High School and was employed with Champion Aerospace, LLC. He attended Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Don had a love and passion for motorcycles, but his greatest love was for his family and his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Christopher Erik Nichols (Brittany) of San Antonio, TX; a daughter, Brandy Melissa Nichols Lollis (Frank) of Central; two sisters, Pamela Sue Stancil (Joey), and Marylin Faye Brunson (Kenneth), both of Pickens; seven grandchildren, Brandon Lollis, Dylan Lollis, Ryan Lollis, Sarah Lollis, Ella Nichols, Caroline Nichols and Wyatt Nichols; and one great-grandchild, Zoey Lollis. In addition to his parents, Mr. Nichols was predeceased by a brother, James Kenneth Nichols.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 27, 2019 at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM Friday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, prior to the graveside service.
Family members are at their respective homes.
