Donald Milton Boggs

Donald Milton Boggs, 74, of Greenwood, passed away January 31, 2018 at his home.

Born in Clemson, he was the son of the late Herman and Carolyn Elrod Boggs. Don was a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Chemistry and received his Masters degree in Divinity from Erskine College. He retired from Ethox Chemical Company in Greenville after many years of service.

Don loved to fish with his grandson, read, and listen to music. He was an avid Clemson football fan and looked forward to watching them play.

Surviving, are his loving wife of 37 years, Gail Brown Boggs, of the home; sons, Paul Boggs, of Anderson; Christopher Boggs and his wife Nina, of Louisiana; and Jimmy Simmons and his wife Rebecca, of Gaffney; and two grandchildren, Seth and Zoey Simmons.

In addition to his parents, Don was predeceased by a sister, Dayle Ligon.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels of Greenwood, 808 S. Emerald Rd., Greenwood, SC 29646; or Hospice care of South Carolina, 326 Montague Ave., Greenwood, SC 29646.
