Mr. Donald Earl "Codger" Custard, 85, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013 at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Born in Blue Canyon, California, a son of the late Earl Clayton and Cecilia Mae Henry Transue Custard, Mr. Custard retired as a foreman from Riverside Elevator, was of the Methodist faith, and was a single action shooter in Carson City, Nevada. Donald proudly served as a Lt. in the Isleton, California Fire Department.
Surviving are two sons, Earl Marion Custard (Lisa) of Easley, and Kenneth Donald Custard (Glenda) of Shingle Springs, California; two daughters, Cecilia Mina Logan (Jaimie) of Hartford, Alabama, and Mary Anne Joyce McGregor (David) of Graham, Texas; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Custard was predeceased by a son, Michael Joseph Custard and a brother, Wesley Custard.
Memorial services will be 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013 in the Fireplace Room of Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Greenville.
