Mr. Donald "Donnie" Wayne Moore, 67, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022.

Born in Greenville County, a son of the late David Joseph Moore and the late Ida Eugenia Bridges Moore, Mr. Moore was a graduate of Greenville High School and retired from the Greenville News with thirty-six years of service. He was of the Baptist faith.

Donnie loved antique cars, racing, riding motorcycles, listening to music, and watching wrestling. His greatest love was for his family and animals. He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Surviving are two brothers, Garry Mitchell Moore (Donna), and William Earl Moore (Donna), both of Liberty; his nieces and nephews, Shelly Gould, Kristopher McCulloch, and Kayla Ferguson; his great-nephews, Matthew Murray and Elledge Ferguson; and his beloved buddies, Boots and R.J. In addition to his parents, Donnie was predeceased by a brother, Bobby Ray Moore.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 10, 2022 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM Tuesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
