Donald Boyd "Duck" Jennings, 60, of 239 Jim Hunt Road, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 29, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Ray Leslie and Elma Sally Porter Jennings, Mr. Jennings was employed with Duke Power, Daniel Construction and owned his personal business. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and the Bates Masonic Lodge. Mr. Jennings was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served with the US Army.
Surviving by his children, Jeff Jennings and Kelly Parton (Joey), his ex-wife, Linda Williams all of Easley; two brothers, Ronald Jennings (Ruth), and Mark Jennings (Rita), all of Easley; a grandson, Kain Parton of Chesnee; a brother-in-law, Charles Childress (Smokey) of Piedmont; one niece, Caitlin Jennings and three nephews, Isaac Jennings, Brent Jennings and Lee Childs, all of Easley.
Visitation will be from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with a brief memorial service to follow.
A private memorial service and burial will be at a later date.
The family is at the home of Linda Williams, 304 Henry Street, Easley, SC 28640.
