Donald (Don) Lee Skelton, 64, of 101 Shaftsbury Road, died Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at his residence.
Born in Anderson, SC, Don was the son of the late B.C. and Hattie Vaughn Skelton. He was a retired principal of the Golden Strip Career Center in Greenville County and served as a principal in both Pickens and Greenville County School Districts. He was both a graduate of and earned his Masters Degree from Clemson University.
Surviving is a daughter, Casey Williams and husband, Keith of Greer, SC; brothers, Tom Skelton of Clemson, B.J. Skelton and B.R. Skelton both of Six Mile; sister, Betty Crick of Martinez, GA; and two grandchildren, Ansley and Brayden Williams.
Memorial services will be 11 AM, Saturday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Hayes officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Grace Church-Allendale Project, 2801 Pelham Road, Greenville, SC 29615.
