Donald Francis Whitt, 64, of 8133 Liberty Highway, died Thursday October 12, 2006 at his home.
Born in Easley he was a son of Francis DeForrest Whitt, of Easley and the late Ethel Izona Fendley Whitt. Mr. Whitt was a graduate of Liberty High School and retired from BASF Anderson in 2003. He enjoyed woodworking and mechanics. Mr. Whitt was a born again Christian and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to his father is his wife Patricia Gillespie Whitt of the home; one son and daughter-in-law Roger and Deborah Whitt of Liberty; one daughter, Deborah Whitt of Townville; one sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Tommy George Patterson of Six Mile; and two grandchildren, Caroline and Zachary Whitt.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday October 14, 2006 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home ~ Powdersville Road with the Reverends Doyle Finley and Dave Shorter officiating. Burial will be in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
Visitation will be from 7:00 until 8:30 PM Friday evening at the funeral home.
The family is at the residence.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church-Building Fund or to Hospice of the Upstate or to the charity of your choice
