Donald Raymond Wike, 79, of Easley, husband of the late Janet Hooper Wike, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in Columbia.
Born in Lyman, a son of the late Clarence and Lozie Wilson Wike, Mr. Wike was a commercial HVAC technician for many years at Freeman Mechanical, Inc. and retired from Stover Mechanical. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and a veteran of the US Army.
Surviving are his children, Donna Wike Murray, David Wike (Diana), and Elaine Wike Knox (Karl); grandchildren, Jake Murray (Deirdre), Jillian Murray, Krissy Wike and Drew Wike, and great-granddaughter, Molly Murray. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Wike was predeceased by a brother, Bob Wike.
Memorial services will be at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2015 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 PM Saturday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Memorials may be given to Ebenezer Baptist Church (New Facilities Fund), 524 S. Ebenezer Road, Florence, SC 29501.
