Donald Arthur Worm, 76, of 706 Pelzer Highway, died Saturday September 19, 2009 at Countryside Village.
Mr. Worm was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, a son of the late Gilbert A. and Ruth Toussaint Worm. He served and retired as a police officer in Elgin, Illinois and was of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving are his former wife, Kathlene Miller Vanderhoof, of Easley ; sons, David A. Worm and his wife, Deborah, of Liberty, Mark D. Worm and his wife, Pamela and Mike A. Worm and his wife, Nicole, all of Easley ; a sister, Florence Scheflow, of Bartlett, Illinois ; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be 4:00 pm Thursday at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown.
Family members are at their respective homes.
Mr. Worm was an avid reader and in his memory, the family requests that you buy a book and give it to a child.
