Donna Lisenby Chandler, 58, of Central died at Summit Place of Anderson on June 25, 2009 after a long period of declining health.
Born in Homerville, Georgia she was the daughter of the late Robert B. Lisenby and Latrelle Griffis Lisenby.
Donna Chandler retired after a distinguished 30 year career as an English Honors Teacher at Wren High School.
She attended First Baptist Church of Pendleton.
Surviving are her husband of 34 years, Dale Chandler, a son Jake Chandler, a brother Marc Lisenby and his wife, Mary Lisenby, her sister Tina Lisenby, mother in law Betty Chandler, brother in law Mike Chandler, his wife Susan, nephew Matt Chandler, and best friend Nancy Hill.
She was predeceased by her beloved father in law, Ralph Chandler.
A memorial service and celebration of Donna�??s life will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, July 1, 2009 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central, S.C. The family will receive friends from 2 PM until 3 PM at the funeral home preceding the memorial service.
The family would like to thank the staff of Summit Place of Anderson for their kindness and loving care of Donna.
