Mrs. Donna Gibson, 53, wife of Dean Gibson, left this earth to join her guardian angels, Tuesday, November 26, 2013.
Born to the late Donald B. Watson and Iris Clark Watson, Mrs. Gibson was a graduate of Clemson University, and was office manager of her husband's business, Fleetmaster.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Lloyd Gibson and wife Melissa, of Piedmont; two beloved, and cherished grandsons, Caleb and Eli Gibson; daughter and best friend, Doni Gibson, of Columbia; two surviving brothers, Marty (Amanda) Watson, and Byron Watson, all of Easley; sister, Lynne (Lanny) Balentine, of Piedmont; sister, Lori Gillespie, of Liberty; her first "grandbaby," Kaitlyn Smith, of Piedmont, and an abundance of family and friends who loved her very much.
Donna lived for making others happy; she loved filling her home with love and most importantly laughter. She found joy in the hunt for a good DVD, Saturdays of her normal routine, a good inside joke, and anything that involved the apples of her eyes, Caleb and Eli. Their "Nanny" could not have loved those two little boys more.
Memorial services will be 4:00 PM Friday, November 29, 2013, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 3:45 PM Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Greenville Humane Society at 305 Airport Road, Greenville, SC 29607, or to the Children's Charity fund of the Pelzer Masonic Lodge, at P.O. Box 402, Pelzer, SC 29669.
