DONNA E. GUSTAVEL- Clemson, SC

Donna Emily Gustavel, 53, of 102 Wescott Drive, passed away on December 24, 2007. She was born in San Francisco, California on February 16, 1954. She was the subject of the book, "The Courage to Live" by Dan Brannen regarding her triumph over Cerebral Palsy and Deafness. In spite of her handicap she served as an assistant teacher for the Dekalb County School System in Atlanta. She has had a wonderful life and made and influenced many friends over the years.

She is survived by her parents, Don and Marcelle Gustavel, of the home; her sister, Michele Morgan of Clemson and a nephew Brandon Morgan of Atlanta.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to OMH Hospice of the Foothills, 390 Keowee School Road, Seneca, SC 29672.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, December 28, 2007 at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Robert W. Lowe.
