Donald Ray "Donnie" Gray, 63, of 200 North Severn Circle, husband of Kay Baisden Gray, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Valdosta, GA, he was a son of the late Romulus Ralph and Eldora Wisenbaker Gray. Mr. Gray worked in the civil engineering group at Jacobs Engineering for 31 years and was a Veteran of the US Army having served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Powdersville First Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Michael G. Gray and his wife Angela of Conway, SC, Mark A. Gray and his wife Lauren of Grayson, GA; a brother, Ronnie O. Gray and his wife Joyce of Anderson, SC; two grandchildren, Zachary and Zane Gray; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum of Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Society of Greenville County; 113 Mills Avenue; Greenville, SC 29605; www.cancersocietygc.org/donations or to the charity of one's choice.
The family is at the home.
