Donald Howard "Donnie" Wardlaw, 45, of 103 Oakwood Street, died Saturday, March 14, 2009, at his residence.
Born in Pickens County, a son of Carolyn Ray Wardlaw of Easley, and the late Gordon C. Wardlaw, Donnie was a sub-contractor and a member of Arial Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are two brothers, Stanford Ashley Wardlaw of Easley, and Michael Gordon Wardlaw of Chapin; a sister, Shirley Mechelle Powers of Easley; and a niece and three nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Arial Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Parton officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Memorial Gardens.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday and will be placed in the church at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of SC, 500 Taylor Street, Columbia, SC 29201 or to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
