Mrs. Miller was born in New Orleans, LA. She attended Holy Name of Jesus School, Academy of the Sacred Heart and Newcomb College (BA degree). She did graduate studies at Clemson University. After residing in New York City, Dallas, TX and Clemson, SC, she retired to Waveland, MS. After Hurricane Katrina, She moved to Pendleton, SC near Clemson, SC and finally to Clemson Downs, a retirement center.
Her parents, Dora Musson Martin and Edmund Butts Martin, her brothers, David Boucher Martin and Edmund Butts Martin, her sister, Emma Martin Glenny, and a daughter, Mary Miller, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Piguet Miller, 3 children, Hugh Edmund Miller, Amanda Miller Belge and Donald Gregory Miller, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker, but also worked in libraries in New Orleans, LA, New York, NY and Clemson, SC. Before retirement, she also worked for an accounting firm in Clemson, SC.
A Memorial Mass will be held 7 PM, Friday in the chapel of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Clemson, SC.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the church.
The family prefers memorials to St. Andrew Catholic Church, 200 Edgewood Ave, Clemson, SC 29631.
