Mrs. Dorene Rae Coats Gayheart, 61, of 116 Kimberly Drive, Easley, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at her residence.

Dorene was born in Willard, OH on September 11, 1954 to the late Don and Irene Tracey Coats. She spent most of her life as a Homemaker and in her free time she loved to spend time with her family and friends, shop, take vacations, and was an avid coffee drinker. Until his passing in September her sweet dog, Buster was her best friend.  

Mrs. Gayheart is survived by her children; Michelle and B.J. Rodriquez, Craig Gayheart, Angie Gayheart, and Tammy Tabares; all of Slabtown; and her grandchildren; Ashley Summerall, Lee Summerall, Drew Gayheart, Alyssa Gayheart, Rachael Wilson, Carlie Mahon, and Dakota Rodriquez. She is also survived by two brothers; James and Larry Coats; a sister; Donna Jenkins; and a special cousin; Rhonda Atkins. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter; Salena Kelley; a brother; Robert Coats; and two sisters; Audrey Seiple and Linda Atkins. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 1:45 PM on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, 305 W. Main Street Easley, SC 29640.

Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM on Saturday in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family is at the home of Michelle and B.J. Rodriquez, 110 Montague Lane, Liberty, SC 29657. (Gray Fox Run Subdivision)
