Dorian Leigh Hopkins, 64, husband of Sheryl Dickard Hopkins, passed away Wednesday October 15, 2014 at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Born in Laurens County, SC, to the late Harry Grady and Mary Baldwin Hopkins, Dorian was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was employed with three different Law Enforcement agencies, first with the City of Easley as a dispatcher and detention officer; then worked for Greenville County before finally working federal security at BMW. Dorian was a family man who greatly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Jason T. Hopkins (Stephanie) and Joshua K. Hopkins (Krystal), both of Easley; a daughter, Adrienne L. Hopkins of Easley; two brothers, Reverend Daryl K. Hopkins (Dee) of Taylors and Duane E. Hopkins (Julie) of Greenville; nine grandchildren, Tiffany, Timothy, McKenzie, Jesi, Chase, Trinity, Gabriel, Samantha, and Kendall. Dorian is also survived by one great-grandchild, Kylee and his true southern belle sidekick whom he called his four legged daughter, Savannah.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 18, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with the Reverend Daryl Hopkins officiating.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM on Saturday prior to the service at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
The family is at the residence.
