Doris Ann Moore Barker, 62, of 107 Furman Road, died Friday, December 8, 2006 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Sylvester and Bertha Dockery Moore.
Surviving are two sons, Michael Smith, Roger Dale Smith, both of Greenville; a daughter, Sandra Smith, of Greenville; two brothers, James Alton Moore, Benjamin Charles Moore, both of Pickens; three sisters, Bernice Sanders of Pelzer, Glenda Roper of Asheville, NC, Mildred Thompson of Simpsonville; two grandchildren, Tonya Hester, Kimberly Smith; four great-grandchildren, Alex, Samantha, Dylan, and James Hester; and a special friend, Susan Fields. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James N. Barker; three brothers, Austin Sylvester Moore, Robert Fulton Moore, Sherman Jack Moore; and a grandson, Michael Shane Smith.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with Reverend Paul Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
