Doris Richards Childress, 70, of 160 Dearborne Lane died Tuesday at Regency Hospital in Greenville.
She was born in Pickens County, the daughter of the late Roy and Ruth Waldrop Richards
and the widow of Eddie Doyle Childress. She was a textile employee and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving is Raymond Hardy, the father of her children;daughters, Cindy Marcus and Ann Barrett of Easley, Donna Lane of Marion, SC, Sandra Moore and Patty Goss of Central;
sisters, Marlene Dunn of Liberty, Betty James, Linda Richards and Jeanette Alexander all of Easley;11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00pm in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, officiated by Rev. Scott Willis.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 11:00am until 1:00pm, Friday. Burial will follow at Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family is at the home.
