Mrs. Doris Black Fisher, 88, wife of the late John Lowell "Johnny" Fisher, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, July 9, 2018.
Born in Anderson County, a daughter of the late Jacob Riley Black and the late Ella Mae Kilby Black, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Fisher retired from Stone Manufacturing with twenty-four years of service. She was a charter member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church and belonged to the Willing Workers Sunday school class.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Barry J. and Linda Fisher of Duluth, GA; and one granddaughter, Emily Michelle Fisher.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11:00am in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 - 10:45am at the funeral home.
