Doris W. Franks

Doris Wellborn Franks, 93, widow of James Paul Franks, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 7, 2022. She was born in Anderson County May 5,1929 the daughter of Sam and Julia Hale Welborn. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pendleton.

Doris was a well-known hairdresser for many years.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Sandra McLendon and her husband, Bryant; and a granddaughter, Catherine Elizabeth McLendon.

In an addition to her husband and parents, Doris was preceded in death by her son, James Franks, Jr.; brother, George Welborn; and sister, Faye Erskine.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, August 12^th at the First Baptist Church of Pendleton Cemetery.
